Instrumental prog rock, this time with a full band, drums, bass, and all. It's very well-done. Somewhat reminiscent of 80s King Crimson, but perhaps even better, certainly a bit more reserved and tasteful.

A Syd Barrett hommage on Cuneiform? I simply couldn't resist... and I'm glad that I didn't - great album! Although Syd and early Floyd are never covered directly here, many of the tracks breathe the, er, Spirit From the Gates of Dawn, most obviously the one named Syd. The opening track also contains some Saucerful elements. Well the Madcap was at least partially on board on that one, too... As the album closes, we're clearly entering WYWH territory, so this ends with a hommage to a hommage!

This music sounds like family ! It has something in the construction that I recognize as in Univers Zero or Present.... Plus nice vocals.... Probably Dave Kerman adventures with some European bands have infiltrate this music.
